There are few in this world whose blood cannot be stirred by a simple tale of daring deeds. Diesels were always looked down upon in the extreme world of rallying. But with Mahindra & Arka we had a different approach. The 'Alternative Thinking' – Super XUV5OO. A rally prepped XUV500 by us at Arka Motorsports, the first diesel Rally car to take on petrol sipping sedans and hatchbacks since 2013.

We then took to tougher challenges participating in the extreme cross country rallying, the first being the Desert Storm in 2012 with three Super XUV5OOs. It has been around 8 years in the rally scene and now not only does the Mahindra Adventure Rally Team participate and dominate extreme rally raids events but has also dominated Indian National Rally Championship and has emerged as champions two consecutive years in a row.

After the Super XUV5OO’s being dominant in all the rallies for almost 9 years, it was time for a change. 2019 saw the introduction of Mahindra's latest development, the new XUV3OO with the latest FMSCI “R” regulations, where these XUV3OO's churned out a little over 235 HP and about 300 N-m of Torque at peak, thus making it as one of the fastest cars built in India, by us!

This car is built on the R2 category of FIA standards. The XUV3OO is mated to a 6-speed sequential transmission, some extensive bespoke suspension engineering and vibrant engine upgrades !
